Cypresswood Golf Club has hosted the Houston Open Open Qualifier for the last 10 years on the Cypress Course, and the Tradition has hosted the Tour Qualifier and the Futures Classic.

What makes such a tournament-worthy course so attractive? It is a demanding, but fair layout unique to the Houston area that some have compared to the Pinehurst No. 2. The subtle undulations throughout the course, the velvet-smooth greens and the scenic beauty combine to make it the jewel of Houston Public golf.

There is plenty of room to play the course ( no tight alleyways), but it remains a fun, forgiving challenge for all golfers without being contrite or overwhelming.
