Coming Soon – NEW CLUBHOUSE
Few other golf courses in Houston are more historic than Glenbrook, but most golfers are unaware of its legacy and the course no longer resembles the original layout along Sims Bayou. Glenbrook is the second oldest course in Houston, pre-dated only by Houston Country Club. The course was first built in 1924 as a 9 hole course with sand greens called Rio Rita Country Club. Al Espinosa won the Houston Open in 1929. The course was later acquired by the city and opened to the public.
Call Glenbrook’s new head golf pro Will McCullough, for your next golf lesson, at (713) 649-8089.
